What are the Requirements for Getting Youtube Shorts Ad Results?

YouTube will share revenue from Shorts ads among creators of short videos in early 2023. Of course, this will increase the profits of video creators.

Like TikTok, ads on Shorts appear between users' videos. Here are some of the conditions for getting YouTube Shorts ad revenue sharing:

1. Shorts creators must have at least 1000 subscribers on their channel or account.

2. Views Creators must have amassed a minimum of 10 million views on Shorts over the past 90 days.

3. Shorts video content must have received a minimum of 4000 hours of playback in the last 12 months.

If the Shorts creator meets these three requirements, then he can only apply to register in the Youtube Partner Program.

Head of Product Development for Youtube, Neal Mahon ensures that Youtube Shorts is a short video platform that really shares the results of advertisements with creators. Youtube will give 45 percent of ad revenue to video owners

"For the first time there is a real revenue-sharing program on a short video platform," Mahon said as quoted by Engadget.

Previously, Youtube had disbursed funds of US$100 million or around Rp.1.5 trillion for incentives for video creators on Shorts.

The ad revenue sharing program for Shorts creators will be held by YouTube starting early next year.
